Job PurposeLead and oversee the operational execution of the HR function with a commitment to internal growth and advancement of the company's workforce. Serve as a dynamic, hands-on leader, fostering a high-performance culture, driving talent management, and ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws.Essential FunctionsLeadership & StrategyDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectivesLead HR teams to support manufacturing plants and their teamsFoster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagementTalent ManagementPartner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs at various locationsBuild and implement succession planning and career development initiativesDrive internal growth and advancement opportunities for employeesCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulationsDevelop and enforce HR policies and proceduresManage employee relations and mitigate risksConsultationAct as a trusted advisor to Directors of Operations on HR mattersProvide consultative support to managers and employeesFacilitate organizational change and development initiativesOperational ExcellenceOversee plant HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and HRISMonitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-makingEnsure efficient and effective HR service deliverySupport food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured productsPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleSPHR or SHRM-SCP preferredExperience managing a decentralized team vitalExperience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment desiredProven track record in talent management, succession planning, and talent developmentStrong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and lawsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent leadership and team management skillsDemonstrated success working as a coach and strategic business partnerAbility to work effectively in a dispersed team environmentStrong consultative and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityAbility to roll up sleeves and get involved in day-to-day HR operationsCalifornia, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C. Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $126,000 to $180,000 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
