Practice at the Top of Your License as a Critical Care Physician Assistant in Great Falls, Montana

Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our team of Advanced Practice Providers and tele-ICU physicians to provide exceptional patient care resulting in positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician Assistant.
- Two years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (with procedure logs).
- Montana Physician Assistants must demonstrate completion of 8,000 or more documented practice hours.
- Active Montana license and DEA preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- ICU coverage is 12-hour day Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider 7 a.m. -7 p.m. working in collaboration with Sound tele-ICU physician.
- Average of 15 shifts per month, modified block shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10-bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic patients and observation ICU patients, estimated 8 encounters per day.
- Work collaboratively with the cardiothoracic surgeon, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants and other hospital team members to deliver high quality, evidence-based critical care services.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and implement patient treatment plans.
- Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice including central line and arterial line placement and intubation. Manage mechanical ventilation in collaboration with respiratory therapy.
- Participate in goals of care discussions and family communication.
- Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives as determined.

Rewards and Compensation:
- Annual salary, $200,000 plus based on -hour shifts per month.
