Leasing Professional
Reports To: Community/Property Manager and Marketing & Leasing Manager
Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
Position Summary
The Leasing Professional is an essential member of the on-site team and plays a vital role in the success of the apartment community. This role operates in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and is responsible for managing the leasing process from start to finish, assisting with marketing efforts, and supporting resident relations.
Essential Functions:
Leasing, Sales & Marketing
- Manage the sales process and documentation using Hilton's standards
- Conduct property tours both in-person and virtually
- Review applications and collect all necessary documents for processing
- Maintain and organize prospect files
- Coordinate the move-in process, including lease signing and apartment preparation
- Process transfer requests and assist residents with lease modifications
- Maintain up-to-date records of renters' insurance and complete monthly compliance reports
- Conduct monthly market surveys and report findings to the Marketing and Leasing Manager
- Maintain a clean and appealing tour path daily
- Develop and execute proactive marketing campaigns
Resident Relations
- Field resident concerns and distribute as necessary to appropriate team members
- Follow up on resident issues to ensure resolution
- Support resident satisfaction initiatives
- Create and distribute communication materials for residents (mass emails, flyers, letters, etc.)
- Plan and coordinate resident events and programs
- Maintain accurate resident files (e.g., insurance certificates, pet addendums, transfers, adding/removing occupants, etc.)
- Manage resident clubhouse reservations and maintain related records
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Multifamily Leasing, Sales and Customer Service
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, including nights and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- 2 Years experience with Yardi or similar property management software
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Regular use of office equipment (computer, copier, telephone, etc.)
- Ability to walk the property and climb stairs (up to 3 flights)
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 lbs.
