Locum Cardiovascular Surgery NP/PA - Billings, Montana (Compact License Accepted)Availability- Position Type: Locums
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred
- Alternate Schedule Considered: Week-on/week-off
Schedule- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- OR and inpatient responsibilities
- Weeknight Call: 1:4 (4:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weekend Call: Approximately 1:5
- Call Type: Beeper
- Required Response Time: Within 20 minutes

Licensure Requirements- Active Montana License or
- Compact License Accepted
Board Certification- Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
Required CertificationsPractice Highlights- Assist Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons in the Operating Room
- Inpatient rounding responsibilities
- Assigned rounding patients
- Trauma Level I facility
- Cerner EMR
Patient Volume- Approximately 8 patients per shift
- 30-bed department
Ideal Candidate- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Cardiovascular Surgery experience
- Comfortable first assisting in Cardiothoracic and Vascular procedures
- Experience managing inpatient cardiovascular surgery patients
