The Commercial HVAC Technician plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This technician works closely with a medium to large team of 4 to 10+ technicians and reports to the Lead Technician and Operations Manager. The role involves regular travel to multiple client sites, ensuring efficient system performance and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC systems according to specifications and blueprints
- Perform routine system maintenance and preventive care
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and components
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Accurately document service activities and system details
- Collaborate effectively with team members and report progress to supervisors
- Travel regularly to client sites to deliver on-site services
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in commercial HVAC
- Technical certification in HVAC or related fields
- EPA Refrigerant Certification
- Expertise in HVAC system installation and preventive maintenance
- Strong skills in commercial HVAC repair and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and blueprint reading
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Demonstrated safety compliance and time management
