Job Summary
The Production Operator I supports daily manufacturing operations on the production floor. This role ensures production targets are met while maintaining strong standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient daily output
- Perform routine quality checks and visual inspections of products
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and workplace guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
- Ensure materials are available to minimize downtime
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and production line support
- Support other areas of production as needed based on shift needs
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in a manufacturing environment with rotating shifts (days/nights)
Qualifications
Minimum:
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior experience required
