Job Description Job Description Position: Production Operator I Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Production Supervisor Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day or night), rotating 2-2-3 schedule or based on production needs Apply / Contact Apply online: Job Summary The Production Operator I supports daily manufacturing operations on the production floor. This role ensures production targets are met while maintaining strong standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient daily output Perform routine quality checks and visual inspections of products Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and on time Follow all safety rules, procedures, and workplace guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas Ensure materials are available to minimize downtime Assist with basic troubleshooting and production line support Support other areas of production as needed based on shift needs Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Work in a manufacturing environment with rotating shifts (days/nights) Qualifications Minimum: High school diploma or GED required No prior experience required
