In coordination with Management, the Shift Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to assigned employees through their daily routines and interacts with customers to make sure they have a satisfactory experience. They act as quality control through the supervision of employees and ensuring the Company and Food Service policies and procedures are maintained. A Shift Supervisor must be able to perform all job functions of the staff they supervise and make decisions to delegate duties and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSHigh School graduate or equivalent; Associate degree preferred; previous foodservice industry and customer service experience required.
QUALITIES
Moderate to heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds; constant standing, bending and walking; exposure to temperature extremes, slippery surfaces, and congested work areas; exposure to many different food types.
