What You ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care for infants in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
  • Manage high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
  • Deliver patient-centered care for approximately 9-11 patients daily
  • Work within an 8-bed Level III NICU and 10 LDR couplet care rooms
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
  • Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in strategic growth of the NICU program and patient safety efforts
  • Communicate effectively with hospital leadership and staff
  • Optional participation in moonlighting opportunities across Virginia

What You Need
  • Board-certification in Neonatology
  • Valid medical license in Virginia (or eligible to obtain)
  • Experience working in a Level III NICU preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
