What You ll Do - Provide comprehensive neonatal care for infants in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
- Manage high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams
- Deliver patient-centered care for approximately 9-11 patients daily
- Work within an 8-bed Level III NICU and 10 LDR couplet care rooms
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
- Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in strategic growth of the NICU program and patient safety efforts
- Communicate effectively with hospital leadership and staff
- Optional participation in moonlighting opportunities across Virginia
What You Need - Board-certification in Neonatology
- Valid medical license in Virginia (or eligible to obtain)
- Experience working in a Level III NICU preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
