JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active SC License
- Board: BC in Critical Care
- DEA: Yes
- Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Other Qualifications: Clean background ONLY; Must be out of training and practicing for at least 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 24-hour on-campus call coverage on weekends (Sat 7a Mon 7a)
- Round with 2-3 pediatric/ED residents and supervise overnight call with 1 resident
- Manage medical conditions including cardiac/respiratory arrest, sepsis, renal failure, and poisoning
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Treat traumatic injuries such as blunt force/penetrating injuries, fractures, and dislocations
