REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Interventional procedures PCI/diagnostic caths, right/left heart caths, echo/stress interpretation. Provider expected to cover STEMIs and perform PCI for diagnostic caths.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Licenses: Active Oregon license
- DEA: Active DEA certification
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA
- Other Qualifications: Completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship; clean malpractice record
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology services including PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, right/left heart catheterizations.
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Cover STEMI call with 24-hour shift responsibility.
- Manage and round on personal patients until sign-off.
- Provide inpatient consults and perform coronary angiograms (2-6 per day).
