MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Proficient in the operation of CNC Lathes (Program, Tool, and Work Setup) Ability to load programs and edit offsets and code to produce parts within specification. Advanced Skills: Manual programming and ability to edit coded programs (On machine controller or from a desktop computer) Operate manual machining centers when required. Operate the machine shop hand equipment. Use various measuring equipment (Micrometer, Caliper, CMM, etc.) Proficient in reading, understanding, and machining CAD drawings. Measure and inspect parts as needed or required. Perform and document process inspection. Other duties as assigned.
