CNC Operator - 3rd Shift
Location: Fremont, Ohio
Pay Rate: $19.92/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnight)
Position Overview
Local Company in Fremont, OH is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team on 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other automated equipment) to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform basic machine setups and tooling changes as needed
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Frequent use of hands and arms for operating machinery
