Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Indiana, PA. This role involves delivering comprehensive anesthesia care including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for both elective and emergent procedures. Case types include orthopedics, endoscopy, ENT, podiatry, and obstetrics.
The CRNA will be responsible for preoperative evaluations, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-operative care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Anesthesia Administration
- Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Establish IV access and administer general, regional, and epidural anesthesia
- Manage anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
Case Management
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff
- Participate in both elective and emergent cases across multiple specialties
Patient Monitoring
- Monitor airway, vital signs, and patient status during procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe recovery
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- Active Pennsylvania state license (or ability to obtain)
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Strong proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques (spinals, nerve blocks, epidurals)

- Call: In-house call required

- Setting: Hospital-based
