Required Skills:
  • Board Certification as a CRNA (BC)
  • Valid, active RN license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Proven minimum of 6 months to 1 year of anesthesia experience
  • Proficiency in supervising anesthesia procedures, including spinal blocks and arterial lines (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience with a broad range of surgeries such as GYN, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, GI, interventional radiology, and related procedures
  • Ability to manage Level II Trauma cases comfortably
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with OB anesthesia (training provided only if performing OB isn t required)
  • Knowledge of MRI and cath lab procedures
  • Ability to perform arterial lines (not a requirement)
  • Flexibility with shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Current DEA and CSR certifications
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of recent anesthesia practice in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work varied shifts including 8, 10, and 12-hour days
  • Availability to work a 24-hour plus 16-hour shift weekly, including weekends and holidays (Christmas mandatory)
  • Must pass credentialing process, which takes approximately 30-45 days once licensed
  • Willingness to work across two facilities (Boise and Nampa) as needed
  • Supervision model: maximum of 4:1 ratio, with the possibility of working in an independent model at another campus if OB procedures are performed
