Locum - Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine Midlothian, VA

Required Skills:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine or Obstetrics and Gynecology with Fetal Medicine specialization
• Proven expertise in procedures such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, cerclage, and management of high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency in ultrasound imaging, particularly with GE 10 machines
• Strong knowledge of managing high-risk conditions like pre-eclampsia, growth restrictions, chromosomal abnormalities, and pre-term labor
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical judgment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners or other healthcare providers
• Skilled in fetal and maternal co-morbidities management
• Familiarity with EPIC or Viewpoint EMR systems
• Ability to perform or assist with high-volume outpatient and inpatient maternal-fetal procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of experience in maternal-fetal medicine or high-risk obstetrics practice
• Active medical license in Virginia or the ability to rapidly attain licensure

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days
• Ability to work on scheduled dates: 04/28/2026 start date with openings in May 2026
• Willingness to travel and stay onsite, with expenses reimbursed (flight, hotel, rental car, IRS mileage rate)
• Commitment to providing high-quality maternal-fetal care in a fast-paced environment
