What You ll Bring: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (no Internal Medicine or Family Practice required) Active MA State Medical License ACLS Certification DEA Registration Minimum of 1 year of emergency medicine experience Ability to work approximately 10-13 shifts per month over a 3-month assignment Comfort managing a variety of patient ages, including pediatrics, with an average of 2.5 to 3 patients per hour Experience with Epic EMR system Additional Skills That Would Shine: Experience in rural or community hospital settings Adaptability to limited onsite specialty support Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Prior experience in critical access or rural emergency departments Ability to work night shifts (evenings and overnights) Other Requirements: Willingness to license in Massachusetts if not already licensed Ability to comfortably drive to the hospital location; hospital provides housing and ferry reimbursements when applicable Commitment to a 3-4 month credentialing process This rewarding opportunity offers competitive hourly pay at $226.98, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
