Overview We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Internal Medicine - Cardiology physician to deliver exceptional patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a patient panel, conducting hospital rounds, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. This position is ideal for providers interested in a consistent schedule, fostering long-term relationships with patients, and contributing to a reputable healthcare organization committed to excellence.
Required Skills - Valid active medical license in the state of practice
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
- Experience in non-invasive cardiology
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage inpatient and outpatient care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to interpret diagnostic studies accurately
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice to Have Skills - Previous experience in hospital rotations and multidisciplinary rounds
- Experience supervising physician assistants or nurse practitioners
- Familiarity with healthcare technology and diagnostic tools
- Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse patient population
Preferred Education and Experience - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of cardiology practice post-residency
- Prior experience with clinic and hospital-based cardiology care
Other Requirements - Active supervising license for Physician Assistants and inclusion as a locum tenens supervising physician
- Willingness to commit long-term (at least 3 weeks per month)
- Availability for hospital rotations every 5-6 weeks
- Flexibility to support clinic and hospital duties as required
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and team collaboration
- Ability to start on or around August 31, 2026
