Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

1. POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides full scope, independent anesthesia services within a financially stable, clinician led health system. The CRNA will join an established anesthesia group practicing autonomously across a broad range of surgical specialties. The role offers substantial time off, high earnings potential, and a supportive clinical environment.
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide independent anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
• Perform pre anesthesia evaluations, intraoperative management, and postoperative assessments
• Deliver regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks
• Manage obstetric anesthesia including epidurals
• Assist with stabilization of trauma and critically ill patients for transfer
• Participate in call rotation as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation within the organization s industry standard EMR
• Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve block experience (unless a new graduate)
• Proficiency in obstetric anesthesia and epidural management (unless a new graduate)
• Ability to function independently in a full scope anesthesia practice

• Central line placement proficiency (preferred unless a new graduate)

• Ability to work independently in high acuity situations
6. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, neurospine, plastics, simple pediatrics, cardiology procedures, and other approved specialties
• Perform regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks
• Manage obstetric anesthesia including epidurals
• Assist with stabilization of trauma and critical patients for transfer
• Participate in call rotation including weekday, weekend, and backup call
• Provide care across 6 ORs, endoscopy suites, and an obstetric suite

8. WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
• Independent CRNA practice model within a multidisciplinary surgical environment
• Full scope anesthesia services across multiple specialties
• Access to modern operating rooms, procedural suites, and industry standard EMR
• Collaborative clinical support from surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
9. SCHEDULE & CALL REQUIREMENTS
• Five 8 hour days per week; stay until cases are completed
• Rotating late day CRNA schedule
• Repeating 9 week schedule with weeks off per year
• One week per cycle with no call
• During remaining weeks: one 24 hour call shift per week
• One weekend of first call and one weekend of second call every 9 weeks
• Protected post call days
10. REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to Clinical Leadership and collaborates with anesthesia, surgical, and operational teams across the organization.
