Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $22-$25/hour (DOE)
Overtime: Required as needed

Position Overview

Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Receiver I to support our internal supply operations in Fife, WA. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming materials used in vinyl extrusion production, ensuring accuracy, proper storage, and efficient material flow throughout the facility.

This is a hands on role for someone who is self motivated, enjoys staying active, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase ordersInspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as neededAccurately enter receipts into the inventory systemLabel, store, and rotate materials following FIFO (First In, First Out) guidelinesSafely operate warehouse equipment, including stand up forklifts and pallet jacksMove materials both manually and by equipment (approximately 50/50)Load, unload, sort, and process returns, including outdoor work as needed (rain gear provided)Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and warehouse areaSupport cycle counts and inventory control activitiesStay productive during downtime by organizing, cleaning, or assisting other teamsFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required0-2 years of warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience preferredForklift experience strongly preferred (stand up forklift a plus)Basic computer and math skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyReliable, self motivated, and team orientedWillingness to work overtime as needed to support production and business demands

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftAbility to perform repetitive tasks in a fast paced environment

Work Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse settingCombination of indoor and outdoor workRegular use of PPE requiredExposure to varying weather conditions when working outside
