STUDENT ASSISTANT-R&D - Powertrain Development 03-01581 Who We Are: Join the Powertrain Development and Certification Group as a Student to work on a range of engine and vehicle related projects. Powertrains experience may range from passenger car xEV to Heavy Duty trucks with engines from 1.5L to 20L. Objectives of this Role: Work with a team of experienced engineers and project managers to assist in powertrain emissions experiments, data acquisition, and analysis of results. Obtain experience in the areas of engine and vehicle testing. Summer 2026 student position. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Conduct test experiments in a laboratory environment. Analyze experiment results and draw meaningful conclusions. Work with data analysis software such as MatLab, Python, Excel, and Labview. Requirements: Must be pursuing an Associate of Science degree with a focus on engineering related coursework. 0 years: Coursework or project experience using engineering principals. Experience working with engines and vehicles is desirable. Must have strong communication skills. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
