In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, performing diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopies and endoscopies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality treatment. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance our reputation for outstanding medical services.

Required Skills:

• Valid NY State Medical License
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficiency in upper and lower scope procedures
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to perform diagnostic tests and interpret imaging results
• Knowledge of EPIC charting system and Pixys medication dispensing system

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced endoscopic techniques
• Prior experience working in a hospital setting
• Ability to work flexible hours and participate in 24h call coverage
• Multilingual abilities preferred but not required

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Residency and fellowship training in Gastroenterology
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a similar clinical setting

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 24-hour call coverage as scheduled
• Willingness to adhere to strict dress code, professional conduct, and unit policies
• Successful completion of credentialing and background checks
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with hospital policies

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $2,964, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
