Job Description

Our client, a leader in infrastructure and facility management, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager/Chief Engineer to join their team. As a Project Manager/Chief Engineer, you will be an integral part of the facilities management department supporting ongoing infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

What's the Job?

  • Plan, execute, and oversee multiple infrastructure projects including HVAC replacements, electrical upgrades, roof replacements, and major equipment installations.
  • Manage all phases of project delivery from design development through construction closeout and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to ensure work meets specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Control project budgets and schedules, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders for technical accuracy and cost impact, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.

  • Experience in managing construction or infrastructure projects within a facilities environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to review technical documents and conduct site inspections for quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, schedules, and documentation related to project execution.
