Building Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in building management and facilities support, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting daily building operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergency repairs.
• Conduct inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure proper operation.
• Write work orders, maintain reports, and follow safety protocols for hazardous materials.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• HVAC license preferred; certifications/licenses as required by local jurisdiction.
• Ability to lift/carry loads of 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs/ladders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze multiple sources of information.
