Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient accounting systems, processes, and procedures to support organizational growth.

• Lead the transition of financial operations from outsourced services to an in-house model.

• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team by hiring and training additional staff as needed.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place.

• Leverage software tools such as Yardi and QuickBooks to streamline financial operations.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Foster a positive and detail-oriented workplace culture among a small, dynamic team.

• A minimum of 5 years and up to 15 years of relevant experience in financial management or a similar role.

• Proven ability to design and implement accounting systems and processes.

• Proficiency in financial software, including Yardi and QuickBooks.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of mentoring staff.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
