Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Brownsburg, IN

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Specialist supports revenue operations by accurately posting payments, invoicing customers, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. This role works within established guidelines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post customer payments and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare and send invoices for chemicals, parts, service work orders, and drop shipments
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve aging balances
  • Perform account reconciliations and cost-per-car analysis
  • Enter work orders and support job costing activities
  • Manage AR inbox and respond to customer inquiries professionally
  • Answer phones and serve as backup phone support
  • Maintain spreadsheets using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPs
  • Scan, code, and maintain AR documentation
  • Support month-end close activities (open items, statements, aging)
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation standards
Systems

SAP B1 and ECC (preferred), Excel, Accounting Software

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree
  • 3+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP)
  • Experience with customer communication and invoicing
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Collections experience a plus
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
