Accounting Senior Manager

Accounting Senior Manager Remote (Must reside in TX, AZ, IN, KY, NC, GA, FL, SC, or TN - EST hours) CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Senior Manager of Cost Accounting for our partner global pharmaceutical manufacturing client. As the Senior Manager of Cost Accounting, you will lead inventory and cost accounting operations, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, and oversee ERP and automation initiatives. Qualified candidates will have strong cost accounting experience, leadership skills, and SAP S/4HANA expertise. Responsibilities for the Accounting Senior Manager: Lead all inventory, reserve, and transfer pricing accounting activities across the manufacturing network Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and statutory reporting standards Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Supply Chain, Tax, Audit, and IT teams to support accurate financial reporting Serve as primary contact for external auditors, corporate reporting, and tax compliance Lead ERP and automation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA implementations and process improvements Requirements for the Accounting Senior Manager: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong cost accounting experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry Proven people management and team leadership experience Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA ERP systems CPA (Certified Public Accountant), MBA, or Big 4 public accounting experience preferred Compensation for the Accounting Senior Manager: Employment type: 1 year temporary assignment (W2 Employee) Schedule: Full-time, EST business hours Salary/Pay: Open pay BOE Location: REMOTE - Must reside in TX, AZ, IN, KY, NC, GA, FL, SC, or TN Benefits: Benefits provided through CornerStone
