Hill Ward Henderson seeks qualified legal assistant candidates for their Bankruptcy and Creditor's Rights/General Litigation Department supporting multiple attorneys. This is an in-office position. Candidates should have the following: Description: Prepare, draft, and review legal documents such as petitions, declarations, and bankruptcy schedules Process and file various bankruptcy case forms and documents Maintain confidentiality and properly handle sensitive client information Communicate with clients and court officials to schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings Monitor case progress, follow up on deadlines, and keep the attorney updated Organize and maintain case files, client correspondence, and other related records Assist attorneys in the preparation for court hearings and client meetings Handle client queries related to the bankruptcy process Ensure all legal practices and procedures comply with federal and state laws Requirements: Two (2) years' experience in a commercial or civil litigation practice. Knowledge of Federal and Florida state court rules is strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills, client-oriented focus, professional demeanor, initiative, analytical thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills. Candidates must also have solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with a Document Management System is a plus.
