Required Skills: - Current LPT license in Texas (or compact license)
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)
- Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills in evaluating patient needs and adjusting care accordingly
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with physicians, patients, and families
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
- Familiarity with outpatient therapy protocols and documentation standards
- Multilingual abilities to enhance patient rapport and communication
- Additional certifications related to specialized therapy techniques
Preferred Education and Experience: - Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred) or Bachelor s degree in Physical Therapy
- Prior outpatient therapy experience, ideally in orthopedic and neuro settings
- At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience
Other Requirements: - Must hold an active LPT license (Texas or Compact)
- Willingness to travel as needed for outpatient assignments
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM 5 PM, with flexibility for early Fridays and make-up hours during Monday-Thursday
- Ability to provide care with a patient ratio of 1:1 (one patient every 45 minutes)
