Required Skills:
  • Current LPT license in Texas (or compact license)
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)
  • Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills in evaluating patient needs and adjusting care accordingly
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with physicians, patients, and families
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
  • Familiarity with outpatient therapy protocols and documentation standards
  • Multilingual abilities to enhance patient rapport and communication
  • Additional certifications related to specialized therapy techniques

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred) or Bachelor s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Prior outpatient therapy experience, ideally in orthopedic and neuro settings
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold an active LPT license (Texas or Compact)
  • Willingness to travel as needed for outpatient assignments
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM 5 PM, with flexibility for early Fridays and make-up hours during Monday-Thursday
  • Ability to provide care with a patient ratio of 1:1 (one patient every 45 minutes)
