Dynamic Equipment is seeking an experienced and driven Parts Manager to lead a high-volume parts department supporting a full line of OEM equipment, including Bobcat, Develon, FECON, Dynapac and other major brands.
This location serves as the central HUB for multiple OEM lines across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a significant volume of incoming and outgoing parts, optimizing inventory performance, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & HUB Operations
- Strategic Management: Oversee all aspects of parts department operations in a high-volume setting, acting as the central distribution HUB for multiple locations.Logistics Excellence: Coordinate a high volume of inbound and outbound parts flow with extreme accuracy and efficiency.Team Development: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 5+ parts professionals, fostering a culture of proactive service and accountability.
Inventory & Performance
- Inventory Optimization: Maintain optimal stocking levels to support service, sales, rental, and inter-branch demand.KPI Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including fill rates, inventory turns, and obsolescence.Departmental Growth: Manage budgets, expenses, and profitability goals to ensure the department meets financial targets.
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively identifying new business opportunities.Field Support: Conduct customer visits to support accounts, improve service levels, and grow parts sales.Vendor Relations: Build strong partnerships with OEM vendors and suppliers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Rental Support: Partner closely with the Rental Division to ensure parts availability and maximize equipment uptime.Internal Synergy: Collaborate with the Service and Sales departments to ensure seamless dealership operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field is highly preferred.Professional Certification: Industry-specific certifications (e.g., AED Foundation Parts Manager Certification) are a significant plus.Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume parts operations and logistics (heavy equipment or dealership environment preferred).Leadership: Proven track record of managing a team of 5+ employees with a focus on proactive mentorship.Technical Proficiency: Experience with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) and inventory software.Logistics Expertise: Demonstrated success managing multi-location or HUB-style distribution operations is highly preferred.Brand Knowledge: Deep knowledge of OEM parts; experience with Bobcat, Develon, Dynapac or FECON is a significant plus.Communication: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a proactive, sales-oriented mindset.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Environment: A mix of front-office customer service and warehouse/yard operations.Physical Ability: Must be able to regularly lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional movement of heavy loads (75-100 lbs) with assistance or mechanical aids (forklift/pallet jack) is required.Activit
