LHH is assisting a growing construction services organization in its search for a Contracts Manager to support its expanding operational footprint. This fully onsite contract to hire position is based in Santa Fe Springs, California and sits at the center of projectoperations, partnering closely with leadership, finance, field teams, and external stakeholders.
The Contracts Manager will oversee the complete contract lifecycle for a high volume of construction related agreements, ensuring proper execution, compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project needs. This is a pivotal, hands-on role supporting active construction operations and organizational decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage prime contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, change orders, and amendments
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle from pre execution through close out
• Ensure all agreements are approved, executed, and compliant before work begins
• Track insurance certificates, bonds, licensing, and other risk related documentation
• Serve as a resource for contract interpretation, obligations, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate with insurance brokers and bonding agents to secure and maintain required coverage
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and documentation requirements
• Support claims, dispute resolution, and preparation of contract related correspondence
• Maintain organized contract records, logs, and reporting
• Partner cross functionally with operations, finance, and leadership to support ongoing construction projects

Candidate Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in contracts management or contract administration, ideally within construction, engineering, or related industries
• Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, subcontracts, insurance requirements, and risk management concepts
• Proven experience negotiating commercial terms and identifying contractual risk
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and external partners
• Proficiency with contract management systems and standard office software
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
