Locums - Interventional Radiologist Lansing, MichiganPosition OverviewSeeking a
full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to join a
3-physician / 2-APP IR team providing
hospital-based IR services with weekday day shifts and
Q3 call rotation.
Schedule & Call- Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Call: Q3 call - every 3rd weekday + every 3rd weekend
- Weekend Coverage: 3rd weekend rotation
- On-Call Requirement: Yes (weekday & weekend)
- Will accept providers who can cover 2+weeks at minimum
Clinical Environment- Setting: Hospital-based
- Trauma Designation: Level I Trauma Center
- Average Cases: 8 cases/day
- Patient Population: Primarily adults; geriatric patients common
- IR Team: 3 Interventional Radiologists + 2 APPs
- Support Staff: Department manager + 2 APPs
Required Procedures- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Embolization
- Needle biopsy
- Thrombolysis
- UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
Licenses & CertificationsRequired- Board-Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active Michigan Medical License
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
