Job Details JOB RESPONSIBILITIES General Manage an entire project or series of projects, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule. Lead project launch and planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Manage multiple projects with different delivery structures, including self-perform, trade partners, and general contractor partners. Manage client relations, correspondence, periodic reports, change orders, and responses to client and customer inquiries. Maintain daily communication and coordination with design, manufacturing, and construction teams. Coordinate with internal departments including shipping, logistics, and self-perform teams. Partner with jobsite teams to efficiently manage site facilities and general conditions costs. Document and communicate lessons learned into continuous improvement processes. Oversee and assign estimating requirements to support staff for each prototype and/or project estimate. Develop detailed bases of estimate, including qualifications and assumptions. Build positive relationships and alliances with internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors. Effectively communicate and coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain teams. Develop frameworks and processes to support continuous improvement of the estimating system. Budget / Target Controls Support senior leadership in the strategic development of the program launch process. Manage the flow of estimating targets into management systems, including: Client proposals, contracts, and pay applications Subcontractor contracts and pay applications Job cost reporting and forecasting Program or Product Launch Lead the tactical implementation of the launch process across programs. Monitor and support Program Design Managers and Program Managers during launch. Develop, maintain, and update databases used for tracking launch milestones and progress. Develop program launch schedules and work plans. Analyze program requirements, scope, risks, and opportunities, and clearly communicate findings to leadership. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Ability to learn new technologies and information systems quickly. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Ability to generate, maintain, and iterate project schedules. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and construction documents and communicate missing information or discrepancies. Ability to identify and implement process improvements for current and future projects. Up to 33% travel required.
