Required Skills

• Valid medical license to practice in Virginia
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecologic emergency care
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous locum or hospital-based OB experience
• Familiarity with Level 3B NICU protocols
• Experience with OB-specific EMR systems
• Ability to perform emergent GYN procedures

Preferred Education and Experience

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of obstetric practice experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting with OB/GYN coverage

Other Requirements

• Available to start on or before February 1, 2026
• In-house anesthesia coverage 24/7 and on-site MFM consultation (not available on-site)
• Must hold appropriate state licensure, certifications, and DEA registration as required
• Willingness to adhere to hospital protocols and facility policies

Compensation for this vital role is $214.50 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
