A well-established free-standing cancer center in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Oncology Physician Assistant for locum coverage. This is a balanced outpatient + call opportunity with exposure to bone marrow transplant care, hematology, and oncology cases, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team.

Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
• Start: ASAP End of September
• Outpatient-focused role with scheduled call rotation
• Call Schedule:
Tuesday: 4:30 PM 8:00 AM
Friday 4:30 PM Monday 8:00 AM
• Weekend inpatient rounding (Saturday & Sunday)
• Call rotation every 5 6 weeks
• Work alongside 8 physicians + 4 APPs
• EPIC EMR system
• Dedicated oncology and hematology care center
• Patient Mix:
65% benign hematology
35% malignant oncology
• Average 15 outpatient visits/day
• Average 20 inpatient encounters during call/rounding
• Adult & geriatric patient population
• Chemotherapy administered by specialized nurse oncologists
• Manage bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
• Provide inpatient rounding during call shifts
• Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and care team
• Support blood bank coordination and patient management
Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology REQUIRED
Active South Carolina License (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
