NP / PA - Cardiovascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity - Lafayette, LAPosition Overview - Role: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Team Structure - Cardiovascular Surgeons: 2
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 3
Clinical Volume - Program Volume: 90 surgeries/procedures per month
Procedures Supported - Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)
- Thoracotomies
- Lobectomies
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repairs
- Arterial bypasses
- Aortic valve replacements
Schedule - Inpatient Coverage: Primary focus
- Clinic: 1 day per week
- Call: No call
Responsibilities - Inpatient rounding
- Surgical consults
- Emergency department consult coverage
Additional Notes - High-volume, established CV/CT surgery program
- Strong surgeon and APP support
- Excellent opportunity for APPs seeking no-call surgical roles
