Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthesia services at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This vital role ensures safe, effective anesthesia care for a diverse patient population across various departments, including Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurosurgery. Required Skills:

• Valid KY State License (or ability to obtain)
• NBCRNA Board Certification
• At least 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience (no new grads)
• Proficiency in intubation, central line placement, arterial line insertion, and line placement
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Strong communication and teaching skills, especially in a teaching hospital environment
• Flexibility to work full-time schedules including 8s, 10s, or 12s shifts, with a preference for 4x10 shifts

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Knowledge of NORA anesthesia requirements
• Additional certifications related to advanced airway management or vascular access

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
• Minimum of 1 year of specialized anesthesia practice, ideally in a hospital setting with trauma coverage

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work full-time, four weeks per month
• Willingness to work NORA shifts
• Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days
• Ability to work scheduled hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a half-hour lunch
• Compensation at $226.20/hour, with additional holiday pay at 1.5x for major holidays
• Must be able to work every week, supporting the hospital s patient care needs
