Required Skills:

• Valid LVN license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency in medication administration, treatments, and documentation
• Ability to perform computer data entry (training provided)
• Knowledge of facility Standard Operating Procedures and compliance standards (ICF-IDD Regulations, HHSC Standards)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or behavioral health issues
• Prior experience in a state-supported living or similar healthcare setting
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse certification
• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a healthcare or behavioral health environment

Other Requirements:

• Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
• Must submit to required drug testing and fingerprinting
• Completion of facility and HHSC mandated training
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including alternating shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday
• Willingness to start any day during the week with a 5-day notice for onboarding processing
