Location: Charming small-town community in Upstate New York, approximately 30 minutes from Watertown and 90 minutes from Syracuse
We have an immediate need starting next week for a Hospitalist to join our team in a low-volume, supportive hospital environment. This is a week on / week off schedule with excellent compensation and the option for a 1099 one-year contract with a 90-day out.
Position Highlights:
Compensation: $2,500 $2,600 per shift
Schedule: 7a 7p on-site, 7p 7a on-call (APP manages house overnight)
Extremely rare overnight call-ins enjoy dinner, a movie, or time to relax off-site while on call
Patient Volume: patients shared between physician and APP during the day
5-bed open ICU (step-down unit) no vent management
Lower acuity patient population in a well-supported setting
Comfortable provider housing located next door to the hospital
Ideal Candidate:
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician
Recent residency graduates welcome
Looking for a steady week on / week off schedule with minimal overnight interruptions
