Job Title: Ophthalmologist
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Beloit, WI
Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic / Ambulatory Surgery Center
Schedule: Full-Time (Schedule to be discussed)
On-Call Expectations: 1:6 Call Rotation
PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics
Average Daily Volume / Census: 3840 patients per day
Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Comprehensive Ophthalmology including Cataract, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics, Medical Retina, Pediatric, and Cornea
FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
EMR System: Cerner
Specialty Backup: Established referral base from primary care network
Support Staff: 2 Ophthalmologists, 2 Optometrists (including low vision specialist), dedicated technicians and scribes
Leadership & Reporting Structure: Physician-led multispecialty group
Reason for Opening: Growth
CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
Board Requirements: BC/BE in Ophthalmology
DEA & Certifications: DEA (as required)
Credentialing Timeline: Standard credentialing timeline applies

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Board Status: BC/BE in Ophthalmology
State License Required: Active WI License or Eligibility to Apply
Certifications: As required
Experience: Open to new graduates and experienced physicians
Additional Requirements: Interest in comprehensive ophthalmology practice
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care across a broad range of conditions
Perform surgical and non-surgical eye procedures
Collaborate with optometrists and multidisciplinary care teams
Maintain continuity of care through follow-ups and consults
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
