Required Skills: Strong knowledge of radiation physics, dosimetry, and medical imaging Experience with radiation therapy planning and safety protocols Proficiency in treatment device calibration and QA procedures Familiarity with medical physics software and radiation safety regulations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience with advanced imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, or PET Knowledge of software for treatment planning systems Previous experience in a cancer center environment Ability to provide training and mentorship to staff Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related field (Master s or Doctorate preferred) A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a medical physics role Certifications such as ABR (American Board of Radiology) or equivalent Current AHA BLS certification Other Requirements: No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility Scheduled hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday 13-week commitment starting from April 27, 2026 Valid licensure, certification, and compliance with all applicable regulations Willingness to travel and accept reimbursement when applicable This position offers an hourly pay rate of $152.33, along with comprehensive benefits and support designed to foster your success.
