Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year recent dermatology experience Board Certified or Board Eligible Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Ability to perform skin biopsies and manage diverse dermatology cases Capability to handle pediatric dermatology (patients aged 13 and older) Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills Local to the Bay Area or Northern California region Active CA medical license and DEA certification Nice to Have Skills: Experience with teledermatology platforms and remote consultations Ability to manage inpatient consults if necessary Knowledge of complex medical dermatology cases (excluding Mohs) Bilingual abilities or additional language skills Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid CA medical license and DEA At least one year of recent dermatology practice Other Requirements: Availability for shift coverage on Thursdays (ideal), with flexibility for Wednesdays, Mondays, or some Monday afternoons Ability to work both outpatient and inpatient consults Willingness to participate in some call duties and remote teleconsultations Credentialing completion within approximately 3 months Must hold a valid CA medical license Compensation & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $296.40 Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Competitive referral bonus program Paid sick time as per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success throughout your engagement with VHS Contract duration: 6 months with ongoing opportunities Coverage during scheduled shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility for remote consults Seize this exciting opportunity to advance your dermatology career in a rewarding setting.
