Our comprehensive pediatric mental health service line includes a 24 bed inpatient mental health unit at Dell Children's Medical Center, a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, consultation liaison services, and general outpatient services. About The Inpatient Child Psychiatrist Role We seek a board certified or board eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our clinical faculty and serve on our inpatient team at Dell Children's Medical Center. Primary responsibilities include providing clinical expertise to evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of mental health challenges for children and adolescents (ages 6-17) within a trauma informed, family-centered, multidisciplinary model. The physician will collaborate closely with pediatric psychologists, psychiatrically trained nurses, behavioral health technicians, social workers, expressive therapists and other allied professionals; contribute to on call coverage for the Mental Health Unit; and actively engaged in education across disciplines - including medical students, residents, fellows, graduate students, and trainees. Opportunities exist for collaboration in innovative clinical programming, quality improvement and team-based research.
