Job Summary The Assistant Director for Community Service is a key member in the Division of Student Life and Office of Student Engagement. This position will report directly to the Director of Student Engagement. The position is responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with our Community Service Partners. This includes identification of new partners, cultivation of relationships and maintenance of existing relationships. In addition, the Assistant Director will utilize our community partners to connect Jefferson students for employment opportunities and service project sites. This includes supervision of approximately 35 community service work study students. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for all community service programming on behalf of the Office of Student Engagement, SERV 101 (service learning class), and the supervision of any alternative spring break trips. During the summer, the Assistant Director will assist the Director with the management of the New Student Orientation program.
