Project Manager with Education or Government Experience

As a key member of the team, you will ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. Your responsibilities

- Commands deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product Owner

- Plans and governs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and traces ticket assignments

- Coordinates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

- Work in close cooperation and communicates with technical team members, designers, stakeholders, and developers

- Confirm that the functional requirements are met, tracked, and achievable

- Accumulates briefing from business analysts, technical leads, and QA leads into plans

- Make it easier for the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

- Coordinates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

- Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

- Offers detailed reporting to management on milestone completion, project status, and risk assessments

- Confirms project with suitable ticket workflows and boards

- Administers the daily stand-ups, securing they are brief, timely, and focused

- Works closely with the Product Owner/Product Manager, Business Analyst, QA Manager and Product Specialist

- Assists to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

- Applies as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - ensuring the team is working effectively, leading scrum ceremonies, and clearing obstacles

- Observes and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

- Cooperates with Product Owner/Product Manager to assure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are evident and realistic

- Assigns schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

- Heads project planning

- Contributes to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

- Education or Government sector experience.

- Comprehensive knowledge of project management

- Educational Institutions experience

- Project Management Certification experience

- Business Intelligence (BI) experience preferred

- Strong familiarity with PMP Certification

- If you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies, you can succeed in this position

- A Project Management (PMP) certification is required for success at this position.

- You'll do well at this position if you are flexible and focused

- Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

- Project management skills, strong operational abilities, and demonstrated leadership and supervisory qualifications

- Experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs is strongly preferred.

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- We are particularly looking for candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
