LITIGATION (DEFENSE) LEGAL SECRETARY

LITIGATION LEGAL SECRETARY IS IMMEDIATELY NEEDED FOR THIS UNIQUE AND FAMILY FRIENDLY NATIONAL NORTH DALLAS LAW FIRM!

This law firm does an excellent job of making their office a productive and fun place where you can work. If you have at least 4 years' experience as a litigation legal secretary, this just might be your job!! Ideal candidate will have experience in defense litigation and work well managing a busy desk. Some of your duties will be to:

Draft and type various types of legal documents

Proof and redline your work for accuracy

Prepare e-filings and court pleadings in federal and local courts

Schedule/calendar appointments such as depositions, document productions, client meetings, trials, court hearings and appearances, and coordinate travel arrangements as necessary

Process new client/matter requests and expense reports.

Minimum 4 years experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary--(commercial litigation, product liability, insurance defense, or warranty and deceptive trade practice experience preferred)

Bachelor's Degree desirable, but not required

Must have thorough knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

E-filing with State and Federal Courts

Experience with calendaring/scheduling for multiple attorneys

Excellent technical skills

Lovely people skills
