Classification: Jr. Legal Secretary
Compensation: DOE
Prominent firm in Century City is seeking an entry level paralegal or legal secretary to assist with drafting various legal documents to include pleadings, complaints, and motions.
Top candidates will have at least 6 months of professional work experience in a law firm setting, able and ready to assist on a long-term basis, and looking for an opportunity to grow.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
-e-filing in state and federal court
-drafting correspondence and discovery
-filing, scanning, copying as necessary
-working as a team with secretaries, paralegals, and attorneys
-assisting putting together trial binders
-experience using legal software such as Abacus
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years working in a law firm setting
-Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate
-Thorough knowledge of state and federal court filings in CA
-Drafting correspondence and discovery
--Calendaring ability through outlook or Abacus
