Established company is is expanding its Boca Raton legal team and is hiring an Associate Counsel with marketing and litigation experience. This attorney will review and counsel on marketing issues specific to consumer products. This attorney will report into the General Counsel and will be the lead negotiator and drafter of marketing agreements; advise compliance in all channels, online, direct mail and email; and establish marketing compliance and best practice standards. This attorney will also responsible for overseeing the day to day management of litigation docket and responses to consumer complaints. Job Requirements:
Requirements:
•Florida bar member
•7+ years of experience in the areas of marketing and, in a law firm or in-house legal department.
•Experience managing paralegals.
•Experience in consumer products.
•Working knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory concerns, including marketing and promotions law and FTC compliance.
•Strong communication skills, and the ability to communicate and explain complex legal issues to various business partners, including senior management.
•Ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and experience managing several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
