Overview:
The contractor will be supporting a ServiceNow contract focused on IT Asset Management (ITAM) planning, design, and integration into the agency's existing ServiceNow platform.

Job Responsibilities:
The contractor will support a ServiceNow effort that will focus on discovering agency IT Asset Management (ITAM) needs, designing ITAM processes to meet those needs, and building integrations with external systems to support those designs. Key objectives include:
• Asset Management Discovery - Conduct meetings with stakeholders for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and document requirements for the new solution. Goals of discovery meetings are to identify:
- HAM and SAM business needs
- User community for HAM and SAM needs
- Custom portals built to meet user needs for HAM and SAM processes
- Format of data to be exchanged through integrations
- Technologies (e.g. SOAP API calls, REST API calls, Database queries, etc.) required for exchanging data through integrations.
• Solution Design - Document how to best configure the tool to meet the business needs identified in discovery meetings. The design should:
- Focus on how to achieve needs using the tool with minimum customizations so that the tool stays as close to "out of the box" as possible
- Provide a high-level overview workflows required for HAM/ SAM and the vendor's recommendation for how to implement them. Please note that the scope of this engagement is not to build out these workflows.
- Take into account custom tables added to the current tool (custom tables are outlined in the attached document) and ensure that the solution can capture that data.
- Provide detailed documentation of how to configure integrations to exchange data with the systems listed below.
• Integration Builds - Configure the application to exchange data from third party systems to support agency HAM and SAM processes for integrations with the following systems, setting up any MID servers required:
- Computer Associates (CA) Identity Management (IDM): a database repository that contains Full Time Employee (FTE), contractor and application account data (receive)
- SPLUNK
- Micro Focus Service Manager the current IT Service
- Management (ITSM) tool in use at the agency.
- Microsoft Active Directory
o Receive employee data
o Integrate for single sign-on
- Investment Management Tool (IMT), an implementation of the Clarity PPM Tool
Education Level
Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of experience
