.Net/C# Developer - Senior (6-10 years)
Description/Comment: Responsible for applications support and maintenance in an enterprise architecture environment within .net framework using C#. Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a good understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, have experience working on distributed platforms (Windows preferred or UNIX) and have experience in a .net framework enterprise architecture environment. Knowledge of Rational Unified Process methodology, Agile or other iterative development methodologies is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team. Support and maintain applications in production environment Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution Implements problem fixes/remedies with the goal of achieving Maintainability, Availability, Scalability, and Security Translating requirements into a Design and design implementation Must be a critical thinker, solutions-oriented with strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Collaborates with team while performing as primary technical resource for support Documents and closes resolved incidents Analyzes and understands detailed requirements and thoroughly reviews completed work to ensure accuracy Carries out applications maintenance tasks Go Live" support after introduction of new solutions Takes responsibility for work assigned and completed Pursue strong engineering practices through a culture of continuous improvement Complete documentation for tech specs Follow the principles of agile and focus on incremental delivery Act as a mentor to junior staff members Actively participate in product and technology focused social and learning events Ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers and management

Some new enhancements, but need to be okay with maintenance, support, etc of legacy applications.
Tech Stack:
Required Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in web-based development languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, jQuery, .NET/C# Experience in applying client side MV* frameworks such as AngularJS and backbone.js Experience in developing against NoSQL systems like MongoDB Experience with Web API and RESTful services A passion for including automated unit tests in the development process Understanding of Agile/Lean software development principles along with experience participating in agile projects Preferred skills/experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems Knowledge of Web Accessibility Experience in application performance tuning Knowledge of financial services or banking
